About Susan G. Acheson
Susan G. Acheson is Founding Owner & Managing Artistic Director of august Productions Theatrical Inc., a theatrical production company located in Toronto, ON, Canada. She holds a post-graduate degree in Writing & Performance from Humber College and has studied at the Second City Training Center, both in Toronto, ON.
She is also an accomplished playwright/actor. In 1999 she successfully premiered her original play, "It's A Mystery To Me!" (which she also produced, directed and performed in) at Hamilton Place Studio Theatre in Hamilton, ON, Canada.
Then she heard God's call: "Come play on My stage!"
So she began pursuing the things of God with much zeal and has since graduated with honors from both the two-year Bible School Program through SMTI (Supernatural Ministries Training Institute) and the two-year Christian Studies Program through ACBS (Ambassadors for Christ Bible School). She then went on to lead a dramatic ministry outreach at a local church in Toronto for three years. She has been involved in overseas missions trips to both Egypt & China and she has also ministered in music to the elderly in a Toronto longterm care facility for many years.
In 2008 she decided to resurrect august Productions with co-owner Michelle Elliott.
As well, she is an International Professional Member of the Gospel Music Association Canada and a member of SOCAN and the Songwriters Association of Canada.
About Michelle Elliott
Michelle Elliott is the Director of Interactive Curriculum Design, a division of august Productions Theatrical Inc. which provides a curriculum design service that incorporates an interactive theatrical approach. She has a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada.
She has been employed by a large corporation for over twenty years, and her work experience includes that of a corporate trainer. Through this, she has developed and put to use training curriculum that stimulated, motivated and challenged trainees to enhance and optimize their career skills, learn new material and identify their creative potential. Other training/curriculum design experience includes that of a Civilian Training Instructor with the HMSC Hunter, Sea Cadets Agamanon Division, in Windsor, ON, Canada.
Michelle has held church leadership positions for 10 years commencing in 2000. She is an honors student graduate of the two-year Christian Studies Program at ACBS (Ambassadors for Christ Bible School). She holds a Ministry of Helps Diploma from SMTI (Supernatural Ministries Training Institute). She has participated in a number of projects in China and works with organizations in Cambodia. She has dedicated a number of years to preaching the Gospel to the elderly in a Toronto longterm care facility.
She has also been involved in a dramatic ministry outreach, with experience in writing, acting & assistant stage management.
